- How is the Domain Authority calculated?
To calculate the Domain Authority, the algorithm analyzes the total number of backlinks, unique referring domains, as well as the quality and relevance of these links. The score is then assigned on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100.
Authority score interpretation
- 0 – 30 = New or low authoritative domains
- 30 – 50 = Well established authoritative domains
- 50 – 100 = High authoritative domains
